We’re Lucky to Have Water

What would we do without water? It doesn’t bear even thinking about. I’m not talking about water in general, water used to dilute fruit juice or squash, nor the water found in vegetables and fruits. I mean the good pure stuff, the big clear bottles that most of us don’t glug down enough of. If you’re really honest with yourself, how much of this do you drink a day. I often take a small bottle- a bag friendly size- out with me of a day, and am surprised to find it still half full (or empty depending on how you look at life) by the end of the day. I drink more coffee and tea than water, which admittedly has water in it, but is also very dehydrating- not enough water plus dehydrating, chemical-laden beverages, equals not a good idea. We’re forgetting how much of a luxury water actually is. A third of the world’s population live in water-stressed countries, and there is moreover speculation that by 2025, this will have reached two thirds. Now that’s a scary statistic! So those of us who are lucky enough to have water aplenty, with safe drinkable water spilling out of our taps, should drink up
