Naveen Jain Extends a Hand to US Armed Forces Veterans

With the dawn of the digital age, an increasing trend of identity theft has emerged and a lot of people are getting victimized — even former troops of the armed forces.

When news began to spread that vital and confidential information of former US military personnel were accessible to theft, data commerce leader Intelius, along with its CEO Naveen Jain, offered data protection at substantially reduced prices. With around 26.5 million retirees of the US Armed Forces affected, a lot of US military veterans were relieved by the cost-effective offer that Intelius provided.

Intelius — known for providing its clientele with accurate and cost-effective data records to information vital to business decisions — dedicated considerable time, effort, and finances to generate a technology that would preempt identity theft. The resulting technological product — known as IDWatch — warns clients of possible fraudulent activities that involve their identities in real time through email.

Intelius’ product has proven to be effective in deterring instances of identity theft. However, for US Armed Forces veterans, Intelius has made the service available for only $19.95 a year. The discounted version of the program is a far cry from the annual original rate of $100.

For Naveen Jain, inventing IDWatch was his immediate reaction to help solve the problem facing the valiant men and women who had served the U.S. and endangered their lives in the process of protecting the United States. The greatly reduced cost is the entrepreneur’s way of saluting them.

For his immediate action on the issue, Naveen Jain received several commendations and awards from various organizations, several of which were from the veterans themselves.
